Gen 3:6 NIV - When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Sin is a word which makes almost everyone curl back in distaste. A nasty word which we do not even want to get close to. However, no matter how hard we try, our human desire naturally finds sin attractive. Just as Eve chose to disobey God by eating from the forbidden tree, we also make similar decisions every day. Chances are that some of us who are reading this post(including myself) have sinned in the last ten minutes. The good news is that from the beginning God planned to provide us with a way out. This way out is through faith in Jesus Christ who laid down his life for our sins. With the Holy Spirit working in our lives it is then possible to resist the fruit that is put in front of us, because God is working in us. Take the leap of faith and find a greater reward in heaven.
