White As Snow

Isa 1:18 NIV - "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

In Isaiah, we see a prophecy that we are blessed to see fulfilled today. Are sins are said to be "like scarlet" in this verse. However, God from the very beginning planned to wash away our sin and make them "white as snow." He did this through his Son who came and died for our sins washing them all away. If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, this is what our sins look like. We were once scarlet with sin, but now we are as white as now by God's redeeming grace. Just think how hard it is to get a stain out of a white shirt and to think that Jesus' had enough love for us to do what it took to make our shirts white. This is just plain Awesome!
