Jhn 3:16-17 NIV - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Wow, what an amazing thought. From the beginning God loved us and made plans to send his Son into the world as a tiny babe and to eventually die on the cross for our sins. Often times when we think of Christmas we concentrate on his birth. However, Christmas is ultimately about the sacrifice that God made to send part of Himself(His Son) to the earth to die. There are very few humans that would die for someone who didn't deserve it, but God(His Son) did!
